PROJECT DESCRIPTION
"oysters, a natural resource that people once took for granted. nowadays, the NY coastlines only have 0.5 percent of the original oyster population. The oysters that keep the waters clean through their natural filtration process and the oyster reefs holds back rising tides during hurricanes.
through this project, i was able to speak to the people of my community and educate them about the great properties of oyster filtration. with the notebooks, each participant will continue their journey of learning after the activities."
