PROJECT DESCRIPTION
"red is the most important colour used in film.
this is a series of collages created with film stills that heavily uses the colour red. the scenes range from love to fear to death. no other colour has this wide of an emotional range.
with stills containing this colour, i was able to represent 3 themes: the portrayal of women in the media, the presence of red in different time periods and art forms, and privacy in the film industry."

"in the second part of this project, i designed and produced these postcards to be sent to my fellow classmates and favourite movie directors.
as this project took place during this height of the pandemic, postcards was one of the only physical ways to connect with my community."
